HLA Hospital de la Inmaculada Concepción Granada Our Hospitals

The Hospital de la Inmaculada Concepción is a private health centre that provides specialised services. The hospital aims to deliver comprehensive health care to an excellent standard while maintaining high quality and individually tailored care to patients. All staff - from the doctors and nurses, right through to the cleaning and administration staff - are committed to maintaining a high quality of patient care.

The Hospital Inmaculada was recently approved by the Junta de Andalucía, and is extremely well equipped in cutting-edge technology. The hospital is at the forefront of private health care, not only in Granada, but throughout Andalusia.

The first steps of building the hospital were taken in the 1970s when a group of medical professionals began to consider the possibility of building a private hospital complex in Granada. Currently, the hospital Inmaculada is owned by the HLA Group.

In its time, the Inmaculada has admitted more than 150,000 patients and performed more than 175,000 surgeries. Staff are committed to continual professional development, and so training and research are the cornerstones of the Centre, with recent publications in national journals, conference papers and participation in research and clinical trials.

Hospital Resources

The HLA Inmaculada hospital currently has a broad portfolio of services, a vast range of equipment and access to much of the latest technology. This has allowed it to position itself at the centre of private medical care in the province.

The hospital has six floors with 92 single rooms. There are also six operating rooms and two delivery rooms.

Patient Information

On arrival at the hospital, patients should inform the staff of any allergies and should not take any medication without first alerting staff.

Visitors are very welcome, and there is no limit of the numbers who can visit or at what time, however, it is advisable that after 2200hrs patients should only have one visitor.

During surgery, visitors must remain in the patient's room. After surgery has been completed, visitors will be called upon by surgeons in order receive feedback on the patient's progress.

In the event that you – the patient - have any metallic implants (pacemakers, prostheses, etc.) and you are having any radiological examination, you must inform the medical staff looking after you. No one should access operating rooms with lenses, dentures, metal objects or painted nails.

Please do not bring any valuables to the hospital. The hospital cannot be held responsible for damage or loss.
