What add-ons can I add to Sanitas health insurance?
Sanitas add-ons are optional extras that add cover to a Sanitas health plan. They include Pharmacy (50% of prescriptions back, up to €200 a year) and Optical (50% of prescription lenses back, up to €600 a year). Others include dental upgrades, Traffic and Work Accidents, Worldwide Reimbursement, Income Protection, Accidental Death, Repatriation and Family Assistance. Availability varies by plan.

Most add-ons can be added for just the people who want them, so you only pay for the cover each person needs. A few, such as Repatriation, always cover everyone on the policy. Some plans include add-ons at no extra cost - Sanitas Premium 500 comes with Pharmacy as standard. Choose yours when you apply, or add them at renewal.

Existing Sanitas health or dental customers get €100 off the annual premium of Sanitas pet insurance for dogs and cats when the pet's registered owner holds the policy.
Sanitas add-ons frequently asked questions
Can I add any add-on to any Sanitas plan?
No, each Sanitas plan has its own list of add-ons, and some cover is already built in. Sanitas Premium 500 includes pharmacy reimbursement as standard, and Sanitas Mas 90, Mas 90 Plus and Premium 500 already include Sanitas Dental.
When can I add an add-on to my Sanitas policy?
You can choose Sanitas add-ons on the application form when you take out a Sanitas plan, or add them at renewal. Some, such as the Optical add-on, can also be added at any time.
Can each person on the policy choose different add-ons?
