Hospital Nisa Valencia Al Mar's beginnings go as far back as 1967 when the group was first founded. A number of local doctors were concerned about the lack of quality healthcare facilities in the region and in 1970 decided to open the first Nisa hospital in the City.
Since those early days, the Nisa Group has experienced rapid expansion and now boasts a number of private hospitals and clinics up and down the country in regions such as Sevilla, Madrid, Alicante and Castellón.
The Nisa Valencia Al Mar hospital is unmistakable in appearance as it is located in a landmark modernist building, which was previously declared an artistic-heritage site within the Maritime District of Valencia.
In 2017, Nisa became a part of the Vithas Group, which operates 19 hospitals and 28 medical centres across the country.
The Vithas Group is dedicated to investing in both professional staff and in the latest medical and surgical technologies including the first PET Scan Machine in Valencia. In neurosurgery, the group introduced the most advanced 'neuro browser' available and were the first to pioneer the use of the Lokomat Robot, used in the rehabilitation of brain injury patients.
The Vithas Group pride themselves on their core policies, which are customer satisfaction, the continuous improvement of their processes, products and services, and the professional development of all staff members.
The Nisa Valencia Al Mar is a part of the Sanitas network of hospitals and healthcare facilities.
