The MQ Centre is located in Reus, Tarragona and is owned by Grup Sagessa who are leaders in primary health care, social care and education in the Catalunya region.
The MQ Centre was formerly known as the Clinica Fabregas and occupies a former warehouse in the city, which was first built in 1914 and bombed during the Spanish Civil War. The building still retains many of its existing Arabic features.
In 1945, Dr. Josep Anton Montpeó Fabregas founded the Sagessa Group and in 1998 the group took over the management of the MQ Centre, which is now run with many of the core values first established by Dr. Fabregas.
Today, the hospital has become the benchmark for private health care in the Catalunya region and offers a very wide range of general medical treatments, surgical specialties, rehabilitation, outpatient care and a 24 hour emergency service.
