Spanish train operator, Renfe, is making a generous offer to its customers by announcing that up to one million seats are available for travellers on its AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Euromed, Intercity, and Media Distancia trains during the upcoming May bank holiday. This exclusive offer will be valid from Friday, April 28, to Tuesday, May 2, and is particularly designed to assist travellers who wish to explore some of Spain's most popular destinations during this long weekend.
According to Renfe, Andalucia, the Levantine region, and Catalonia are expected to be the most popular destinations, and as such, the company is reinforcing the services in these areas. Furthermore, Renfe will also strengthen the Media Distancia service for the May bank holiday, particularly on its Avant and Regional trains.
The railway operator plans to reinforce the Avant routes that connect Madrid with Toledo, Valladolid, and Puertollano, as well as the Cáceres-Madrid, Jaén-Madrid, and Sevilla-Cádiz Regional train connections. The company also pointed out that this offer during the holiday period will contribute to reducing the carbon footprint and other pollutants in the atmosphere.
Renfe has been leading the decarbonisation of rail transport in Spain and aims to help its customers reduce their personal carbon footprint.
