Also owned by Petroprix, this station sells diesel for 1.25 euros per litre. In contrast, the same fuel purchased from the aforementioned gas station in Albacete would cost an additional euro, amounting to 2.25 euros per litre.

Demystifying "Low-Cost" Fuel Stations

Despite certain misconceptions, refueling at "low-cost" gas stations does not pose a higher risk of mechanical failure. In reality, the fuel quality at these stations is practically equivalent to that of traditional stations. All gasoline and diesel sold must adhere to quality standards established by the Hydrocarbons Law.

One notable difference, however, is that low-cost fuels may not contain certain additives found in other types of gas stations. Consequently, consumption rates may be slightly higher compared to stations offering such additives. Nevertheless, there is no increased risk of breakdown associated with these fuels.
