Murcia’s Corvera Airport Adds Mallorca Summer Route

Murcia’s new international airport, Corvera, will be continuing to increase its services this summer 2019 with a new scheduled flights planned between the airport and Palma de Mallorca.
This will mean that the airport will offer scheduled flights to over 22 destinations including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Norway, Czech Republic and other regions of Spain.
There are currently a number airlines operating out of the airport, although it is unclear at this time which will be operating the new route to Mallorca. Airlines in operation at the airport include Ryanair, Easyjet, TUIfly, Jet2, Norwegian, Smartwings, Air Nostrum, Titan Airlines and Volotea.
Corvera airport was officially opened on the 15th of January this year by the King Felipe VI of Spain and has already seen over 30,000 passengers travel through the airport since its inauguration. The airport has over 1 Million seats already reserved for 5,500 operations between the Summer periods between March and October.
