Do I have medical emergency coverage outside Spain?
Europ Assistance guarantees emergency coverage outside Spain to customers of Sanitas, up to a limit of 10,000 ( 12,000 for the Mas Salud / Professional plans) for medical expenses, per person, in case of illness or accident.
You only have to call Europ Assistance to tell them that you need medical assistance and request your authorization before being treated, so that the expenses are authorized and assumed by your insurance.
Call the Europ Assistance phone number (open 365 days per year), which you will find on the back of your Sanitas member card +34 913 456 584, to report your situation before going to the doctor.
