The hospital La Salud is a private hospital, which was opened in 2016 replacing the former hospital, Nuestra Señora de La Salud. A part of the Vithas group, the hospital is one of the most innovative hospitals in the country and has become the benchmark for private healthcare in the Granada region.

The current facility has 81 rooms and a team of 150 experienced medical professionals, specialists and staff members who offer the very highest quality of medical expertise and patient healthcare.

The Vithas group have a very strong presence in Spain with a total of 48 hospitals and specialist medical centers employing the expertise of around 4,500 medical professionals.

Patient Information

When arriving at the hospital, please make your way to the inpatient admissions area, which can be found in the main entrance lobby. You will need to provide the following documentation on admission.

ID / Passport
Insurance Documents
Authorisation from your insurance company
Signed consent from your doctor at least 24 hours before any procedure

The hospital is open for visitors from 8 am to 10 pm.

There are no limits on the number of visitors although it is recommended that only one visitor is present overnight. There are also no age limits, but children must be supervised at all times.

Each room is equipped with an electric bed, armchair, guest sofa/bed, air conditioning, reading light, safe and private bathroom.
