Quirónsalud are the largest private healthcare group in Spain and have over 60 years medical history. The group operate over 100 medical facilities in the country and employ over 30,000 healthcare professionals.
Hospital Quirónsalud Bizkaia is one of the leading private hospitals in the basque region offering over 40 surgical specialties, which are administered by a team of 200 medical experts and auxiliary staff.
The hospital excels in a number of areas including Gynecology, Obstetrics and Assisted Reproduction. Oncology is also a specialist area with over 1,000 sqm assigned to this particular unit.
Quirónsalud Bizkaia is available to patients from a number of major health insurance companies including our own Sanitas policyholders.
Patient Information
Visitors are recommended to visit in the afternoon as much of the nursing activities are carried out in the morning. Visitors must leave the hospital by 8:00 pm. Visitors under the age of 12 years are not recommended.
All of the rooms are comfortable and include an electric bed, telephone (charged), television, private bathroom and hospital WiFi.
A safe is also available, however patients are advised to leave valuables at home as the hospital cannot be held liable for any loss.
